The most iconic building on Allegheny College’s beautiful campus, Bentley Hall underwent an extensive renovations that will preserve and enhance this extraordinary building for generations to come.
Allegheny’s first formal classes were taught in Bentley Hall nearly 200 years ago, and with historically sensitive and sustainable renovation, it will be restored to its rightful place as one of America’s foremost examples of Federalist architecture, and at the same time equip the building for modern, technology-based teaching, learning, and administration.
